Putting items up
What every listing needs to be — accurate, singular, and genuinely available.
Free Listing Limit
Free listings are limited within any 30-day period. Once you reach your limit, wait for eligible listings to expire or close, or upgrade to Premium for more listing capacity
One item, one category
Each item can only have one active listing in one relevant category. Duplicate listings aren't allowed.
Accurate listings
All listing details must be accurate and up to date, including the title, description, price, condition, location and authentic images of the actual item. Misleading, duplicated or inappropriate content may be rejected or removed.
Moderation
Listings may be reviewed before going live for prohibited, illegal, adult, drug-related, fraudulent or duplicate content.
Genuine listings only
List only items you own or have the right to offer. Repeated, misleading, or search-manipulating listings may be removed.
No relisting to bypass
Expired or removed listings can't be recreated to dodge listing limits or moderation.
Account management
Your account
One honest identity per person — that's what keeps trust on ValoopR meaningful.
One account per person
Each person may have one account. Creating additional accounts to bypass limits, restrictions or suspensions is prohibited.
Accurate identity
Use truthful account information and do not impersonate another person, business, brand or organisation.
Account verification
ValoopR may request phone, email or identity verification where necessary to protect the platform and its users.
Account closure
Accounts with active listings or pending exchanges must resolve them before deletion.
Exchanges & free items
Completing the loop
Free, swap and reserved items only work if everyone follows through in good faith.
Clear exchange terms
Free items must be genuinely free, while swaps must clearly state what is offered and requested. Any mandatory charges must be disclosed.
Genuine exchanges
Exchanges must be genuine and completed as agreed. Creating, cancelling or manipulating exchanges to gain Loop Points or reputation is prohibited.
Pending rewards
Loop Points and exchange-related rewards remain pending until the exchange is successfully completed.
Reservations
Reserved items must be honoured until the reservation is cancelled. Repeatedly cancelling or abusing reservations may result in restrictions.
General
Baseline expectations
The non-negotiables that apply everywhere on ValoopR, no matter what you're doing.
No illegal goods or fraud
Illegal, prohibited or restricted items, fraudulent listings, fake payments and deceptive transactions are strictly prohibited.
No harassment
Abuse, threats, discrimination and harassment aren't allowed.
No manipulation
Fake reviews, engagement, transactions or reputation activity are prohibited.
Safe transactions
Use sensible judgement when meeting up or exchanging items in person.
Report problems
Suspicious listings, users or activity should be reported so we can look into them.
Enforcement
ValoopR may reject, remove, restrict or suspend listings and accounts that break these rules.
