Everything here has a clock on it.

Buy, sell, lease, swap or give things away with people a few streets over. Every listing runs on a timer, so whatever you are looking at is still genuinely there.

The Loop Count

Thirty days of listing, counted.

Every item somebody collects from you earns a Loop.

A shop can put its whole shelf on the same clock.

Refurbished, surplus and pre-loved stock sits in the same feed as the neighbourhood's own, under the business name. One form becomes a catalogue, and the numbers look after themselves.

Catalogue upload

Bring five hundred lines, not one item

Fill in the template in Excel or Sheets and upload the lot. Every line is checked and shown back to you before a single listing is created, so a missing price is something you fix in the spreadsheet rather than discover a week later.

Stock and holds

Ten identical chairs are one listing

Not ten listings to keep in step. Buyers hold the units they want for two hours and pay you when they collect, and the number left moves on its own. The listing stays up until the last one goes.

A person reviews every business before anything goes live. Already sell here as a shopper? Apply with the same email and password, and your shopper side carries on as before.

Most marketplaces lose interest once the sale goes through.

How it usually goes

ListFind buyerSellDone

And that is the end of it. Things sold months ago still sit in the feed, the prices drift out of date, and the item goes into a cupboard until somebody finally throws it out.

On ValoopR

DiscoverBuyUseSell/Lease/Swap/DonateReuse

The same object keeps going round. Every handover sets up the next one, and that is what keeps it out of the bin.

Four ideas, built to work together.

Listings that run out, an order set by how close something is, four ways to pass an item on, and a score that shows its working. Each one is simple enough on its own. Put them together and you get a very different kind of marketplace.

Time-limited listings

Every listing comes with a deadline

You choose how long yours stays up. Once that time is gone it comes down on its own, so nothing you scroll past has already been collected. It works exactly the same way for a bag of surplus veg and for a car.

Hyperlocal discovery

How close it is decides what you see first

Things near you with little time left come first, and things further out with days to spare come later. You hear about a new match while you can still do something about it, rather than the following morning.

AI Circularity Score

How much life this thing has left

Five measures, each worth the same: how reusable, repairable and recyclable it is, what it should resell for, and how many years of service are left in it. You can open the number up and see where every part of it came from. In the score, the only job we give a model is reading the product off your photo.

BuyLeaseFreeSwap

Once it is yours there is reserving, donating, repairing and recycling too. Each one keeps its own colour wherever it turns up.

Multiple lifecycle actions

Four ways to pass something on

The same listing can be a sale, a loan, a swap or a giveaway, and you fill in one form whichever you choose. Give an item two ways out and it is far more likely to find one.

ValoopR Intelligence

Say what you need. It finds what’s still there.

No filters to set and no categories to guess. Ask the way you would ask a neighbour, and the assistant searches every live listing around you, then tells you which one to go for and why.

  1. 1

    Ask in plain words

“A free desk that ends today”, “a drill for the weekend under £15”. Budget, distance and timing all come from the sentence.

  2. 2

    See how it understood you

The search it runs appears as filters you can read, so you always know what it looked for, and nothing is a black box.

  3. 3

Get a recommendation, not a list

It only works from what is live right now, ranks the matches, and explains the pick: how close it is, how long is left, what it is worth.

Free on every account, with a daily allowance that refills as you go.

Value. Loop. Reuse.

Most things are still worth something long after we stop using them. The name is the idea: worth that is already there, a loop rather than a straight line to the bin, and another use waiting at the end of it.

Value
What the thing is still worth, shown while it is still worth it.
Loop
Plenty of ways out of your hands, none of which is a skip.
Reuse
Keeping something in use, by more people, for longer than it would have been.
